In Psalm 33, David writes “For the word of the Lord is right and true; he is faithful in all he does. The Lord loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of his unfailing love.” 

If you spend time outside in our province, evidence of our Creator’s “unfailing love” isn’t hard to find. Take the Chilliwack River Valley, for example, where my dog and I hiked this past weekend. The air was brisk and refreshing; the views were inspiring: snow-dusted mountains, a meandering creek, Cultus Lake sparkling in the sun. There is much beauty here, and it reflects God’s love for us. 

Evidence of God’s love isn’t confined to outdoor spaces. When I see the kindness and commitment of our volunteers and frontline staff, I see God’s love in action. Their efforts to encourage people in prison and on parole are as inspiring as the postcard-worthy landscapes in our region. When they answer their phones or jump in their cars to meet someone, they offer us a glimpse of God’s faithfulness, a reflection of his love.  

When you support our organization through prayer or as a donor, you lift up our mentors as they share compassion with people in our community. Thank you for partnering with us!

To those who volunteer, you are the heart of our organization. Thank you for showing up and helping people find a way forward.
