Our one-on-one mentorship program connects with incarcerated individuals across federal and provincial correctional facilities. Mentors provide companionship without judgment, a listening ear, and healthy accountability—offering meaningful connection and hope in places where emotional isolation can be overwhelming. Because our mentorship is rooted in the Christian faith, a personal commitment to following Jesus is essential. Mentors are called to reflect Christ’s love, extend grace, and walk alongside each individual with hope, dignity, and compassion.

NOLA provides post-prison support by connecting people with the resources, relationships, and practical support they need to successfully reintegrate into their communities. Participants receive support in five key areas: housing, health, employment, education, and relationships. Rooted in the Christian faith, NOLA walks alongside each individual with compassion, accountability, and the hope found in Jesus. Through these relationships and supports, NOLA seeks to reduce recidivism and help every individual build a healthy, purposeful, and thriving life after incarceration.

The Hidden Treasures Thrift Store provides work-release opportunities for those on parole or day passes. The store also offers a critical revenue stream to fund our core programs and a vital space for community interaction and connection.

The Woodshop is a low-barrier opportunity for individuals impacted by incarceration to connect with skilled volunteers in a hands-on, empowering environment. 

Help carry hope forward. M2W2 is seeking compassionate volunteer drivers to provide transportation for participants impacted by incarceration to and from Hidden Treasures Thrift Store and the Woodshop in Chilliwack. By offering a safe and reliable ride, you help remove barriers, encourage consistency, and support people as they rebuild their lives through work, community, and connection.

If you are dependable, caring, and have a valid driver's licence with a safe driving record, we'd love to hear from you. Flexible scheduling is based on program needs and volunteer availability. Join us in making sure no one journeys alone.

Help make M2W2’s mission possible behind the scenes and at community events. Office and fundraising volunteers play an important role in supporting our team through administrative assistance, organizing resources, preparing mailings, and helping with special projects. Volunteers may also assist with fundraising events by welcoming guests, managing registration, selling tickets, collecting donations, distributing promotional materials, and helping with event setup and cleanup.

Support the men and women served by M2W2 through the ministry of prayer and encouragement. Volunteers commit to praying regularly for participants and writing thoughtful, uplifting letters that offer hope, support, and connection. This role can be done from home and makes a meaningful impact in someone's recovery journey. Monthly commitment: approximately 1-2 hours.

Be a welcoming and compassionate first point of contact for individuals seeking support through M2W2. Phone Support Volunteers answer calls from men and women in correctional facilities who contact our toll-free number, providing a listening ear, sharing information about M2W2 programs, and helping callers connect with appropriate resources.

This role is ideal for individuals who are friendly, empathetic, and comfortable communicating by phone. Volunteers receive guidance and support to ensure they can respond with professionalism, respect, and encouragement. Through every conversation, Phone Support Volunteers help build connection, offer hope, and reinforce M2W2's commitment to serving those impacted by incarceration.

Monthly commitment: approximately 2-4 hours, based on volunteer availability and call volume.
