When John was released from prison, he had no family nearby, no home to go to, and no one who believed he could make it. But one of our mentors met him, listened without judgment, and helped him take the first steps toward stability.

John’s life changed because someone like you showed up for him.

Because of support from people like you:

  • John secured safe housing.

  • He gained practical skills through our Woodshop program.

  • He rebuilt confidence and connection after years of isolation.

Your gift today ensures more men and women like John get the support they need, when they need it most.

This year, more than 150 people impacted by incarceration received mentorship from 72 trained volunteers. Many are experiencing their first healthy, trusting relationship in years.

But as we head into the new year, 28 more men and women are waiting to be matched with a mentor. We need our programs to be fully funded to meet this need and ensure no one faces their reintegration journey alone.

Your year-end gift helps:

  • Provide safe, consistent mentorship inside correctional institutions.

  • Offer stable employment pathways through our Woodshop.

  • Create a supportive environment in our Hidden Treasures thrift store.

  • Prevent homelessness for people newly released and vulnerable.

You can make sure the next person in line does not wait alone.
