Prisoners’ Justice Day 2023

Today is Prisoners’ Justice Day.

It’s a day to remember the people who are incarcerated across Canada and honour those who have died in prison. 

We stand in solidarity with people affected by incarceration — including families and loved ones. We stand with people in prison today. We stand with those in the community trying to rebuild their lives while carrying the burden of past incarceration.

There is a better way. Together, we can build safer, more connected communities where restoration is realized through compassion and support.
