Woodshop

The Woodshop is a low-barrier opportunity for individuals impacted by incarceration to connect with skilled volunteers in a hands-on, empowering environment.

The goal is simple but profound: to create a place where people can learn, grow, and work together while developing practical skills in woodworking, mechanical repair, and general labour.

Items built or restored in the shop will be sold to the public, contributing to the program's sustainability and the sense of purpose and accomplishment for those involved.

We follow a mentoring model where teaching, encouragement, and community naturally emerge through shared work.

“We believe this space will become a hub of hope, healing, and hands-on learning—a place where people from all walks of life come together to build not only useful things, but also confidence, dignity, and trust.
